The exhibition Areia (Sand) at Porta 33 comes after a residency in Porto Santo in the Fall of 2021 part of the project Sob a Turbulência, during which there were hikes and walks with listening and watching sessions, outdoor drawing, and foraging natural pigments and dyes. The works in the exhibition celebrate the different elemental, geological, biological, and fungic entities found during the residency.
